I'm Sugam Gahatraj — a self-taught UXUI Designer who turned curiosity into a career designing scalable web and mobile products across enterprise and SaaS domains. No formal background, just real projects, hard feedback, and an obsession with getting design right — translating complex requirements into interfaces that are clean, functional, and built to scale.

My path into design began with nothing but curiosity and no technical background. What started as a self-taught experiment quickly turned into a deep-seated passion, taking me from my first internship to leading complex enterprise and SaaS projects across multiple industries. This journey wasn't a straight line; it was built on a foundation of real-world mistakes, bad design decisions, and the constant, rigorous feedback that comes with building tools for people.

I’ve grown by embracing the cycle of learning, failing, and iterating. Every "bad" decision became a lesson in how to build something better, more logical, and more human. Today, my design process is fueled by that same day-to-day curiosity—constantly upgrading my skills and evolving with every new challenge to create solutions that are as practical to build as they are impactful to use.

Let’s create something amazing together!

Got Questions?

Got Questions?

01/

What is your typical project timeline?

My project timeline typically ranges from 2 to 7 weeks, depending on the scale and complexity of the product. Smaller web or app projects can be completed within this range — or even sooner. Larger, more complex products may extend beyond it. Every timeline is driven entirely by the scope of the work, but on average, most projects land comfortably within this window. After an initial consultation, I'll outline a clear timeline with key milestones so you always know what to expect at every stage.

02/

Do you offer support during the development phase or if minimal changes are needed after design approval?

Absolutely. I offer post-design support to ensure the product is built exactly as intended. Minor adjustments — whether adding or removing features within the existing scope — are covered at no additional cost. However, if a completely new feature is required outside of the original scope, that will be discussed and priced separately. My goal is to make sure the transition from design to development is as smooth as possible.

03/

Can you work with existing brand guidelines and design systems?

Yes, absolutely. I'm fully comfortable working within existing brand guidelines and design systems. I have hands-on experience enhancing live products — whether that means refining existing features, maintaining visual consistency, or integrating new features that align seamlessly with the established system.

04/

How do you handle revisions and feedback?

Revisions and feedback are a crucial part of the process. I typically offer a set number of revision rounds to refine the design based on your input. I ensure clear communication throughout, so your vision is brought to life effectively.
